Besides YouTube, AVS can pull media from many popular sites — including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn — plus extractors for Vimeo, Reddit, SoundCloud, and others. Support depends on how each site structures its pages and can change when platforms update.

How to capture

  1. Keep AVS Download Manager open.
  2. Open the post or video page in Chrome, Edge, or Brave with the browser extension installed.
  3. Let the extension send the job to AVS, or copy the page URL and paste it into the app.
  4. Confirm quality or format if asked, then start the download.

Site notes

  • Instagram / TikTok / Facebook / X / LinkedIn — public posts and videos you can open in a normal browser session work best. Login walls, ephemeral stories, or encrypted feeds may not be available. If the wrong video is captured, refresh the page, open the one you want again, then capture (or paste the URL into AVS).
  • Vimeo / Reddit / SoundCloud — paste the share or watch URL; availability follows what the page exposes without DRM.
  • Other extractors — AVS may recognize additional hosts over time. If a URL fails, try again after an app update or contact support.

Limitations

  • Site layouts change often; a working capture today can break until AVS is updated.
  • DRM-protected or paid-only streams are out of scope — AVS does not crack or bypass DRM.
  • Always respect each site’s terms and copyright. Only download content you may keep.
