Install

Install AVS Download Manager from the Mac App Store on macOS 14 or later.

AVS Download Manager is distributed through the Mac App Store. That keeps updates simple and avoids unsigned downloads from random mirrors.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
  • Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
  • An Apple ID for the App Store (no AVS account is required)

Steps

  1. Open the Mac App Store on your Mac.
  2. Search for AVS Download Manager, or use the download button on avsdownloadmanager.com.
  3. Click Get / Install.
  4. Launch AVS Download Manager from Applications or Launchpad.

The app is 100% free — no trial timer, no subscription upsell, no account wall.

After install

  • Keep the app open when you want browser downloads captured.
  • Install the browser extension for Chrome, Edge, or Brave.
  • Optional: pin AVS to the Dock or enable the menu bar utility in Settings.

Updates

App Store updates appear like any other Mac app. Check App Store → Updates if you want the latest build.
