How to Download Torrents on Mac
You do not need a separate torrent app if your download manager already speaks magnet links and .torrent files. AVS Download Manager includes that client next to regular downloads.
Magnet or .torrent
A magnet link is a hash plus trackers; the app finds peers and starts. A .torrent file already lists the files and piece hashes. AVS accepts both. You can pick which files in a multi-file torrent actually download.
Steps
- Open the Torrents window in AVS
- Paste a magnet link or open a .torrent file
- Watch seeds and peers, then uncheck files you do not want
- Pause or resume like any other item

Torrents are a transport. Copyright still applies. Only download material you have the right to download.
