1. No account, no registration

The App does not require and does not offer any account or registration. We do not collect your name, email address or any other identity information through the App.

2. What stays on your Mac

Your download history, library, queue, settings, converted files and everything you download are stored locally on your Mac. We have no servers that receive, store or process this information, and we cannot see what you download.

3. Network connections made by the App

To do its job, the App connects directly from your Mac to the sources you request — for example the website hosting a file, video platforms, stream servers, or torrent peers and trackers. These connections are made on your instruction and are subject to the privacy practices of those third parties, not ours.

The browser extension communicates only with your browser and the App on your own machine (native messaging). It does not send your browsing data to us.

4. The Website

avsdownloadmanager.com is a static website. It does not run advertising. We use Firebase / Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. That may include the page path, approximate location, browser and device information. We do not use this data to show ads, sell it or build marketing lists. Standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested page) may also be processed by our hosting provider to serve the site securely and reliably.

5. Downloads from this website

The App is distributed as a free DMG installer from avsdownloadmanager.com (not through the Mac App Store). When you download the installer, standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested file) may be processed by our hosting provider to serve the download securely and reliably. We do not use download activity to identify you personally, show ads, sell data or build marketing lists.

6. Email contact

If you email us at support@avsdownloadmanager.com, we receive the information you choose to send (your email address and message). We use it only to answer you and do not share it with third parties, sell it or add it to marketing lists.

7. Children

The App and the Website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your responsibility for downloaded content

What you download with the App is entirely your decision and your responsibility. This policy covers our data practices; it does not make us a party to, or responsible for, the content you access or download. All responsibility for the use of the App and for downloaded content rests with the user, as set out in the Terms of Use.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available on this page.
